Hukumar zaɓe mai zaman kanta a Najeriya INEC ta tsayar da ranar zaɓen 2023 a ƙasar.

Shugaban hukumar ta INEC, Farfesa Mahmood Yakubu ne ya bayyana hakan a ranar Laraba yayin taron yini ɗaya na sauraren dokar laifukan Zabe ta 2021, wanda kwamitin Majalisar Dattawa kan INEC ya shirya.

“Bisa dokar da aka kafa hukumar, zaɓen 2023 zai kasance ranar Asabar 18 ga watan Fabrairun 2023, wanda ya rage saura shekara ɗaya da wata Tara da mako biyu da kwana shida daga yau.”

Shugaban Hukumar ya ce suna fatan tsara jadawalin zaɓen da zarar an kammala zaɓen gwamnan jihar Anambra wanda za a gudanar a ranar 6 ga Nuwamban 2021.

“Don yin yin hakan, ya kamata a samu tabbaci game da tsarin dokokin zaɓe don gudanar da zaɓen. Muna da yakinin cewa Majalisar Tarayya za ta yi abin da ya kamata cikin lokaci,” in ji shugaban INEC.

Ya ce Hukumar ta matsu ta san tanadin doka da zai jagoranci gudanar da babban zaɓen na shekarar 2023.

Tanadin INEC a zaɓen 2023

Shugaban Hukumar INEC, Farfesa Mahmood Yakubu, ya yi hasashen cewa yawan masu rajistar zaɓe a Najeriya za su iya kai miliyan 100 kafin babban zaben 2023.

Shugaban na INEC wanda ya bayyana haka lokacin da yake ganawa da hukumomin ƙasashen waje da suka haɗa da hukumar raya ƙasa ta Amurka USAID a Abuja ya ce za a ci gaba da yin rijistar masu zaɓe daga 28 ga watan Yunin bana har zuwa ƙarshen 2022.

“Wadanda suka yi rijistar zaɓen 2019 sun zarta miliyan 14, adadin zai ƙaru a zaɓen 2023 inda waɗanda suka yi rijistar zaɓe za su iya kai wa miliyan 100 ko fiye da haka,” in ji shi.

Hukumar INEC ta kuma ce za ta faɗaɗa runfunan zaɓe domin sawwake zaɓen ga ƴan ƙasa. Ta ce runfunan da ake da su tun shekara 25 ne ba a ƙara ba.
